In k2 or K3 it is 20 books in 1 month if i remember correctly, now we r talking about whole year (i think). It is more the pressure to parents rather than the qty itself.
English - i think it is not that difficult.
Chinese in Putonghua
- There are some poems like 静夜思 and 谁知盆中飱, 粒粒皆辛苦. Even in Cantonese they may not understand. Need to explain to them no matter using Putonghua or Cantonese.
- For pronounciation, i think it depends on the kid's standard. There is still another Putonghua lesson in addition to Chinese.
