Chin - bring 朗文課本(一上). The teacher will let the kids know when they need to bring 作業(一上),中文閱讀理解, and 齊齊學.識字樂.

Engl - No need to bring Handwriting. This is to be done at home and handed in. The teacher will let the kids know when to bring the reader. Usually they will distribute worksheets during lessons (cos there is no textbook).

Maths - bring the textbook. If you have a double lesson, also bring the workbook. But if it is only a single lesson for the 1st lesson, just bring the textbook.


Concl : Bring the textbooks. At most bring the workbook too if you are worried. But no need to bring the rest yet - too heavy.

Bluestar,

Just saw the new teachers list and the new school calendar.

Heard that a new Campus TV programme introducing all the new teachers was broadcasted in school today.
One new female NET teacher is from Canada.
The new French native teacher is on board now.
Seems there is a new Indian class teacher as well.

As for the new school calendar, we can see the TSL 10th Anniversay in the week of November.
Expect a lot of activities related to the 10th Anniversay in the coming academic year.

Dear all,

I think some of you have mixed up the school web mail (on the right side of the homepage of TSL school website) and e-class.

I think the school web mail is ONLY for TSL teachers and school staff, not for parents.

Parents have to login to the homepage of e-class.

I had the same problem 2 years ago so I know now.

seems like your kid is attending PTH class.
My case is a little bit special. My son and myself lived in Beijing during '04-'06.
He used to speak very good PTH but after coming back to HK without practice, his PTH is getting very worse.
Mine's pronounciation is awful.
I know 2 PTH teachers of hourly rate $150-200.
My husband strongly refuse to have PTH private tutor as this doesn't worth of money.
So, I want to find a good PTH centre of good quality (hopefully with higher standard) with reasonable price.
Any suggestionsfrom the parents? you may PM me and thanks in advance.

One question on P3 TSA.

According to the new school calendar, there will be an assessment for P3 TSA on May 6th and 7th.   
And then, on June 17th & 18th, there will be another P3 TSA.

Do you know the difference between the two?

Why the P3 TSA will be assessed two times (i.e one time in May and then another time in June again)??
