Dear HeiHeiMa,

1) School hardly recommand kid to learn instructment for the whole school life year.
2) Yes some kids did not learn instructment, but is not a big %. I think to be part of CKY kids, is better for them to learn and during classes, they can make friends and pratice in concert.
3) After choosing the instructment, parent need to buy during summer holiday-teacher will tell you where to buy and the serial number etc. But some instructment will provide by school if is too large.
4) Some kids may stop or change to another instructment, but school not recommand and have to see if there is seat available. I think is not worth to stop in the middle of the year cause you have give the full payment in the beginning.
5) Yes there is Music lesson and Instructment lesson. Music lesson have assement during the year. Teacher will put their comment on the report card.

Hello !
My son chose 'Flute'. However I will let him continue to play piano according to his progress and willingness naturally (not pushy at all). I think 'piano' is a good foundation for playing other music instrument. If one day my son could tell which music instrument he wanted to drill on, I will let him go.

Yan 1226, my son was also a p.m. K.3 student and slept as late as your daughter. I also worry that he will feel difficult to adjust in 9/2008. I think we should start amend their schedule since 8/2008.

BTY, I really spent a lot in these 2 months ......... on school fee, books, uniform, music instrument etc. !! :-(

其實我囝囝係學完JMC後最近開始學琴, 但一直都未買鋼琴, 而家仲要學埋另一種樂器, 所以有d猶疑買唔買琴好! 開學真係用o左唔少錢! 所以真係要慎重考慮!
至於瞓覺&早起問題, 我囝囝曾經返過下午, 後來轉返上午, 都要一段時間適應, 我諗趁呢個暑假, 要逐漸提早瞓, 早d起身至得! 果陣我係每星期半個鐘去調節, 妳o地不妨試o下!

Dear All,

Is good to know that all of your kids finally got what they like. My girl choose-Violin as well. I went to buy the Violin after the Music Orientation. Cause 2 years ago, my son choose Clarinet and I went to buy in Aug . But the store told me that they were Run Out, therefore my son have no clarinet in the first instructment lesson.

My kids start to lean piano when they are 4 years old, cause I have piano at home and myself knew how to play piano, therefore PIANO is the first instructment I let them to learn. I think if they knew how to see the melody in advance, it will be good for them to learn different instructment in the future, (cause they are same.)

My kids go to bed at 9:30 every night. And they wake up at 7:15,they are OK so far.

Beside Piano, my kid learn:
1) piano
2) Drawing
3) Kumon
4) French-(Sat activitiy in CKY)
5) Tennis
6) Manderine
7) Tuition 2H per week.
P.S: My P2 son have to pratice half an hour Piano and Half an hour clarinet per night. And the young girl only have to pratrive half and hour piano so far.

If they follow your timetable, they can finish all easily.

hi, 各位好, 我個囡囡都入咗CKY, 實在太遲報到了.

上星期五家長日時, 聽一位家長講, 我去新世界中心買Lego書包, 發現只有2款, $148的只有深藍色, 而且質地軟及不是護脊書包. 護脊書包只有 $238的只有淺藍色, 有一個女仔公仔, 男仔唔適合, 而且size很大, 唔適合小一.
後來我在Elle買咗一款深藍色護脊書包$199. 我覺得唔錯, 有興趣可試試.
