My daughter will go to St Margaret this Sept, May I know followings:
1) How does the school assess the P1 students? Any tests or exams during the academic year? Are homework and activities counted?
2) What types of homework daily?
3) What activities for P1 students?
4) Any important things that new students and parents should be aware?
5) How many native English teachers now?
6) How many non-local students each class?

Are homework and activities counted? >>>There are quizs (no exam for P.1) of Math and GS each month and dictation of Chinese and English each month as well. All homework, classwork and activites will count. 2) What types of homework daily? >>>workbook, worksheet and some writing (寫生字), sometime need to write sentences. 3) What activities for P1 students? >>>舞蹈, 劍擊, 木球, 足球, 體操, 各項樂器 (有些要收費, 有些免費) 4) Any important things that new students and parents should be aware? >>>The school started to use Mandarin to teach Chinese this year. You may just well prepared for this. 5) How many native English teachers now? >>>7 in primary school and 10 in Secondary school 6) How many non-local students each class? >>>Depends on which class.
