Yes, my son in pirmary one. He started Kumon Maths since April 2006 and Chinese since Oct 2006.

我都有想過比亞仔去學 Kumon Maths, 不過我朋友話一日要做成10張, 又成日重重覆覆(連answer都記得根本不用計), 主要係訓練做得快d, 文字題練習又好小, 佢最後都無再學啦... 同埋我又驚如果亞仔第日好多功課時, 邊有時間做10張呀!:-o 可以買d課外練習, 得閒就比佢做.:-)

Dear Topaz,

If you want to train your boss in problem solving (文字題), Selin Maths is a better choice.

我唔覺得Kumon Maths係主力 train up 佢做得快咁簡單,其實係一個好好的訓練令小朋友專心,有責任心,時間管理和自信心等等,對而家讀小一有好大的成效. 當然重重覆覆係好討厭,我個仔開始時都發好大脾氣,又唔肯做<但為了要交功課,佢自己都會自動自覺做>. 我都用咗好多心機同亞仔渡過難關,除咗計數仲要計埋時間,對小朋友來講係有好大壓力:-( . 但慢慢的習慣了, 開學時, 我由10張減到5張,都唔係太辛苦,學校的功課都可以自動自覺. 一個字講哂..good!:cheeze:

Kumon is a Joint Venture group. It should have the same level of teacher quality and operation standard.

Of course, different teacher will have different style of teaching and not single teacher could fit for all different pupils.
This might result in some centres have highter reputation than the others.
