| Just checked from the SHCC website and found this: http://www.shcc.edu.hk/index.php/learningteaching/thirdlanguage.html "...German is now offered as an academic subject to all S1 students who are highly motivated in learning the language...." So I think it is an elective subject rather than compulsory. Since I cannot find it from their curriculum yet.
