It's really hard to tell ..... but one thing for sure is, if you're an alumni of SPCC or the kid gets siblings at SPCC, then the chance to get in is greater.

Congratulations! Your son has entered such a great primary school.

My daughter has just admitted by SKH. I am still struggling for transfer her to SKH or let her stay at Victoria CWB. There was only about 3% kids of Victoria entered SPCC this year. Do you know your son has how many classmates entered SPCC?

Dear Beaclem, Kittylock and other P.1 mum,

Can you please advise if the insect of Ex. 1 of Reader, Little Chimp and the Bees is a 'Bee' and give me some idea of 'What is it doing, What time of day, How it feels', etc. My girl has sick leaves for days and we have no idea of the Exercise or the music!

Is you daughter getting better now? Can she join the school picnic tomorrow? Hope everythings alright!

I've asked my son regarding your question of Ex.1.

He said the teacher let the class listening to some music for around 2 minutes. Each kid had to think of an insect from imagination e.g. bees, butterflies, beatles, flies, ants etc. Then they had to answer the questions based on the insect they had chosen.

fyi, my son chose 'bee' and below is his answer:
1. What is it doing? The bee is dancing.
2. What time of the day? At night time.
3. How does it feel? It feels happy.

Hope the above info can do a little help. ;-)

Not sure exactly how many SKH kids were admitted to SPCC last year ... told by the headmistress that every year may have around 1X ~ 2X on average.

因為大女四年級(女校)都有去獨誦, 學校係講得好清楚要自己去, 同埋學校老師會自行將每個學生既資料打出黎比家長, 唔洗我地上網去check架!!!!!!!!!

相信因為基本上朗誦比賽是自由參加的(雖然老師也會提名某些同學參加獨誦，或某些同學參加集誦，用英語、廣東話或用普通話等)，比賽會在不同日期和不同時間舉行，而場地亦分佈在港九新界不同角落，所以理解 ...
