事先聲明, 我係培僑家長,
我係黎賣花讚花香的, hehehe!

培僑英文水平,
我覺得ok喎, 教學方法亦非常好.
d人成日傳話英文水平一般,
係攻擊, 係印象多過係事實.
我的小朋友係讀九龍塘區英文幼稚園之後入培僑的,
最初英文說話方面係有退步, 因為學校用普通話教學的課時係佔3份之2. 但普通話就進步得好快.
到左一年級下學期, d英文說話的水平已經追番,
學校有要求學生每天輪流出來show and tell,
每個單元都要出黎做project presentation,
向全班同學講解自己的project.
上堂時, 老師都有要求同學仔用英文對答,
一有人講中文, d同學仔就個個話"orrr....you speak chinese"
亞囡話好搞笑,
總之, 都有好多機會講英文.

此外, 亞囡每天都有英文功課,
要每天睇書及記錄,
又要每天回家用英文同家長匯報學了什麼,
(上堂佢地會講故事, 睇英文卡通, 分組討論, 學phonics,
角色扮演, 好多活動, 總之日日都係玩)
記錄在my day book裡.
我覺得咁樣學英文, 又開心, 學得又快.
一年下來, 已經睇左百幾本英文書,
開初我陪佢睇,
依家已經唔駛我陪, 嫌我講得慢, 阻住佢睇.

同d表哥表姐比,
d表哥表姐小學三年級d野,
亞囡一年班己經識做.
我自己都係在職媽媽,
都係做學校要求最起碼既野,
亞囡都冇出去參加d乜野英文班.
可以keep到咁既水平,
我都好滿意架喇!

到二年級,
學校就成日叫佢地寫野啦, 作文啦,
亞女依家可以寫到好長的段落或者故事喇.

To be honest we have just started with PKC (G1) so can't tell too big a difference (of results) yet. But the environment of English teachers always speaking English to the students really is something local schools cannot provide. At least the students know they need to use Eng in front of these teachers. My son vomitted after a few days of taking the school bus and he even said "I vomit". Grammar was wrong but that's ok.....he knew he should use Eng even at this condition!!

And he was quite resisting Chinese at Kindy years now he's enjoying it, though still not much for copying words so homework not needing to do copy words, it actually suits him too!:-P
