The new principal is Mr Ng Ching Kong. He is the principal of Stewards Pooi Yin Primary School in Tai Po. This school will be closed within 3 years. You can check the list from EMB. I was disappointed with the school to change the principal. My friend (who teaches in Pooi Kei) told me most Maths teachers and the acting principal are not for teaching Maths in Eng and they are discussing to quit Eng Maths. What a pity!:-o

Hi. My friend said a few parents of higher levels students don't like the former principal because she made a lot of changing and implemented some new ideas in hurry. I don't know the background of her but my friend told me that she is a tough lady and she is studying the doctor degree of education. It shows that she is hardworking and energtic. My friend said more J.1 and J.2 parents like her because she promoted teaching Maths in English and kids like her. My friend and the parents felt shock and have debt that the principal resigned so suddenly and why the new principal is from another school of the same orgaization which will be closed in 3 years.

Well it maybe true. It's difficult to choose a little kid who has the ability to learn Chinese in Putongua (I think every kid has ability to learn new knowledge.) In my opinion, if the kids attend speaking and reading interveiw before class allocation, then the teachers would base on the presentation skill and how eager they want to speak in putongua to admit the students in appropriate classes. Anyway, turn our eyes to the new principal and communicate to him directly what our kids need which is the only way we can do.
