I fully agree with you. especially "我個仔既性格其實唔適合讀政府學校，因為佢好懶，佢唔係書不離手果種人。如果比佢繼續讀政府名中學，因為多功課，多測驗多考試，所以佢一定會讀得唔開心，咁又何苦呢？"

The same reason I choose GT for my boy. Lukily he passed the PET , I am very proud of him. I wish you boy pass IGCSE as well.

先恭喜你個仔已經pass左pet.

我個仔之前同我講，對於IGCSE既信心唔係太大，所以我已經打定輸數。不過見佢自從入左優中後，英文的確進步左好多，所以都令我好安慰！ [ 本文章最後由 dabbycheung 於 07-7-19 20:54 編輯 ]

I know that a very smart girl who studied G8 this year but the girl is not my daughter. My kid is only 10-year-old. She was a P.4 pupil last academic year. And she got 1st in Chines, English, Mathematics, General Studies, Putonghua and Physical Eduation in final exam of this academic year.

My boy started IGCSE at the pre-summer course. He told me IGCSE is a lot more difficult. I hope he could catch up.

Be honest, I have similiar feeling as your boy's 個補習老師 that 優才要班F.2既學生，去考一個F.5程度既試，覺得學校好唔啱. Anyway, let's trust the school right now.

真係多謝你地分享, 我個人比較多顧慮, 加上優中好新, 無法知道優中畢業生的前景如何(好佩服首屆的家長決定), 又一般唔可以傳回傳統學校,所以實在想找尋多d資料support下自己的選擇. 再想請問真係萬一唔打算升優中, 咁G6學生有無考取傳統學校而轉校的CASE呀?如有是那一間中學呢? THANK A LOT.
