多謝你的回覆 ... 佢記得"老師"好惡 .. 所以大個咗一些 ... 一講話學番鋼琴好唔好 .. 佢就話唔好 .. 我又唔想迫佢 .. 諗住上小一可以選管樂先先正式學習樂器 ..

不過我覺得如果個個同學仔都學 .. 我個囡應該會被帶動的 ..

My girl (Now K3) has only took the summer intensive course (6 weeks for 30 lessons) from A*C for Set 1 Sounds Ditty only.
Originally I wanted to contine but I don't want to come out for two x 45 mins sessions during weekday instead of one 90 mins session every week (they only offers 90 mins for Primary students) and as I found that APS offers RWI ... so I suspend it ... save money if finally she will go for APS ..

Just Curious, Will you plan your girl for APS??

RWI is Oxford’s Read Write Inc Synthetic Phonics
IPA is International phonetic symbols.
See Below info from APS website:

Primary 1 to 6 is taught Phonics. Primary 1’s curriculum is based on Oxford’s Read Write Inc program. Primary 2 to 6 are taught using tailor made worksheets. Primary 4, 5 and 6 are taught the phonetic symbols.

Primary 5 and 6 are also given the opportunity to study drama, public speaking and reader’s theatre

我都希望我囡考到 APS, 哥哥係入面讀, 都不是 100% 可以入讀, 聽聞之前幾年, 都有不收的案例 (哥哥,姐姐雖然讀緊宣小)

我都無留意學校 web-site 咁寫 tim, 原來學校沒有 update

之前幾年, 學校係用番自己設計的 worksheet 教 phonics, 自從引入了 RWI, 就用整套 RWI 教授

總之課程入面有synthetic phonics 同 IPA都正:winner: !!
