8-)The management of DBSPD is terrible! From the ways they collected applications, the arrangement of the 1st interview, and the ways they released the results etc, I can only say that its management is the worst I've encountered so far .........

Even though I called dbs for the info, I can tell the lady is just giving me some answers to end the conversation. Maybe it's true that they didn't called the parents in numerical order. The strange thing is a friend of mine got the call last Friday, and her boy did not have a lot of ECA and awards, not even 2nd interview with YW. However, another friend who studied in KV, got a lot of awards from school and 2nd interview with YW, he didn't get a call from dbs. Don't know what they are looking for.

Originally, I thought my son was just participating for the sake of participating, and didn't really dare to think about a second interview and therefore not very serious on the timing that they release the results. Now when I see more and more people getting 2nd interviews calls but my boy doesn't get any single call, I start to worry very much what's wrong with my boy. Feeling quite depressed.

I think all we "ordinary" applicants shall not have any unrealistichopes towards the applications of any of these traditional famous schools. I think most ofthe succeeded applicants are "pre-selected" by some ways or another.

I never believe those who got 2nd interviews in these famous schools are really "unrelated" with the school by all means.

Most of our "ordinary" applications are just used to boost up thenumber of applications........ so as to boost up their fame further inthe market. The news is just one of their "ADVERTISEMENTS"!

Their interview is just a "SHOW"! So, it's just too NORMAL and NATURAL for an ordinary applicants to be failed!

I truely hope my son is ordinary. But since he gets no chance for 2nd int so far, I start to worry that he's extraordinary... I feel bad that I have applied for the schools for him, making him feeling disappointed despite he thought he did quite well.

We didn't have any expectation towards the applications with any of these famous schools all along anyway. So, for us, being rejected by DBSPD is not anything to be regreted at all!

But I didn't truly believe that all these interviews are just "SHOWS" before finishing the 1st interviews with the famous schools. All schools discriminate the applicants by some ways or another. But for us, DBSPD is the worst of all.

They put my son in the wrong group and didn't listen to him despite he had voiced it out to the teachers at the very beginning.

We chose Cantonese as the medium of interviewing language, but my son was brought into a room in which only Putonghua was used. My son told the interviewer that he didn't belong to this group and he couldn't speak Putonghua. But the interviewer made no response but continued the questioning in Putonghua. So, where is the fairness?

I just feel that we were too naive to believe that it's a fair game!
