在聖誕假時在外面參觀過幾間準校.
當時報直資只是為了拿經驗,直至中一簡報會才去過SPCC,而DGS及SPCS就面試那天才去.因一直認為囡囡沒有甚麼特異功能都好難被這些學校收了.....被SPCC收咗真係好驚喜的.:wahaha: :wahaha:

其實升中面試時，很少學校會測試考生的數學能力，尤其奧數。如果你女兒對奧數沒有興趣，個人認為就不值得花時間去學。DGS的奧數題只佔數學測試的一少部份，相信對整個面試和收生結果影響不大，你不用擔心。何況，DGS的收生主要看考生的排名(banding)、所得獎項和其他課外活動表現。

謝謝回覆, 我亦準備利用暑假帶女兒到心儀學校外面看看,
我準備為她報DGS,SPCC, SPCS是否會太多 ? 再加两間
津校, 但亦怕時間互撞,您女兒今年有否出現時间互撞.
有沒有報讀interview班 ?

謝謝您的回覆, 看了您的意見, 我亦取消了奧數的想法,
因真的只是為了升中INTERVIEW, 反正即時識答
亦不代表實收, 還有很多其它方面, 再者小朋友的
壓力亦很大, 謝謝！

今年spcc，英華 和 marymount據聞都是在同一日面試的。

I never recommend people to take any interview class before as I thought those only teach them to memorize model answers. However, after my son got rejected from SPCC and ying wa, (DBS is no hope neither). I think interview practice is very important and should start early. If you can speak English, you can do more mock interviews with your daughter first and see what her problem is. Then, find ways to improve them accordingly and should do this as early as possible.

I did many mock interviews with son before QC interview last time, and finally I think he did good. We are still not sure if we can make it this time, but at least we tried our very best already.

SPCC was on March 1 and Ying Wa was on March 1 and 8. You should find out their interview dates before applying. I did call Ying Wa before regarding this and they said they can try to change if that really happens.

謝謝寶貴意見, 因自已英文有困難, 故相信幫唔到亞女,
故正在尋找interview班, 自已唔識教, 是最大的障碍.

Be careful when you look for interview class, some are just "making money", not really helps. I learnt my lesson before.

Actually, you can try one time in cantonese using some question samples and see how she does first. I do believe some kids don't need training if they can respond clearly with good organization, may only need to train the manner for the interview, that can be done by parent easily (just like you interview for a job).
