師兄，今次非常認同你:good:不過我會建議non jupas位唔洗減少，只要班local student 又讀IB IAL既，一律收國際生價錢，一來揀讀另一學制既家庭，個個都認為家境富裕，一定係俾得起而讀既，所以用國際生價錢交本地大學費用，對於佢哋係冇壓力！二來，揀讀呢兩個學制原定係for海外升學，但用local身份起香港讀又太優惠喇，令到班父母1516，如果可以收國際生價錢，其實係促使班父母更加大決心俾小朋友出國讀書，咁就更能有效發揮開設海外課程既目的！

The Dual Curriculum arrangement for DSS schools is supposed to be a transitional measure when the NSS / DSE was introduced as some prarents raised the concern about the recognition of the new system by overseas universities.

This interim policy should have been abandoned after the NSS / DSE is widely recognised by the international community. Right now many local students applying local universities via Non JUPAS is not aligned with the original intention of the policy.

Many "new school" DSS schools obviously cannot handle the Dual Curriculum arrangement as their DSE results are just medicore and even worse than other similar banding Aided schools.

to be fair...... when parents opted for "International schools" "International Baccalaureate", I don't think their intentions were to be enrolled to local uni right? The mission statements of the establishment made it clear the international schools are to facilitate expat to have their kids seamlessly to move on to foreign uni upon their graduation from the international schools. Why do HK uni need to entertain them while more and more competent dse jupas students are striving for the HK uni Bach degree needless to say including the medical dental.... Major

It is the costs and audit requirement of ib which prohibited the schools to have dual stream.... To be honest average IB score of 36 among all esf schools don't sound too impressive for their so called IB students. When you look at the local uni degree the avg 36 scores entitled to, they are comparable to average band 1a 1b local schools.... An average band 1a school in hk has avg 10 students joining medical schools every year...... (Needless to say the spcc has avg 30 to 40 entries every year) When you look at the total number of medi acceptance esf schools have every year they don't outperform la.
