I don't think your son has hard feeling when someone discriminate him. It's the parents have the hard feeling. I believe the 'S' seat can give him a complete training on his weakness not the international school. They have all the specialist whom your son needs.

My son also studies in the special school, but I did not hide this matter to anyone, because I hope that he may attend the normal school someday, so I don't want to waste his healing time (Golden 6 years), I think the special school is the best choice to him. Of course, case by case.

Autism is more common in our society, more people are going to accept them. Don't worry.

有冇諗過跨區簡'S'位.....我一年前就是這樣......阿仔而家在東涌讀.....學校D人非常好.....我排左3個月就有......你可以考慮下.............if you don't mind, you can send yr e-mail to me for sharing.........!!

I'm trying other school instead of special centre,Because I don't believe the government department since I born my son in the government hosiptal.I perfer paying service!!

Actually many local school (governemt school ) will also accept children with ASD features.

Many 'famous' international school will not accept ASD kids.

International school also la, such as ESF, Norwegan international, Korean International might consider.

You can look into their wedsite for information.

But I think you should not think that " my son will be discriminated" and threrefore mis-out his training opportunity at special schools placement. Many school are happy to accept ASD kids as long as they cna demonstrate their ability to attend "regular" school.

Don't give up! ^v^
