Actually what I wanna point out is, since I have been checking the data for few years, this is the first year LH post the table #2 you refered to, "LH畢業生最終入讀的小學 ". In the past, the only available table available is "LH畢業生獲取錄的總offers", which I believe many parents may not have pay attention to and assume it is the "LH畢業生最終入讀的小學" table only.
I do not suspect the accuracy of the data at all. There are no grounds to challenge that. However, I just hope parents would take note that some of the impressions of LH placement were taken from a magnified number.
I feel welcome that they decided to disclose more information for parents' reference. It is certainly a good thing to do. However, I would feel suspicious to find them to start disclosing more information for 2010 P1 placement, where 2004 has the lowest birth rate in the century which children would enjoyed better placement with least competition. (apology if this offend anyone but I do feel it is something to worth take note of, no matters this change is by intention or not. The fact is last year was the easiest year for anyone to find a better primary schools).
Just hope to share some of my findings and parents can treat them as reference.
