Is Cheuk Ka learning enopi math also ? Davin is now at level 4 - finished minus 3 & learning the concept that 4 + 2 = 6 & 2 + 4 = 6.

How many of you will try 陳守仁? I think LH has only posted a part of the data on Primary school allocations but not all. Pls advise.

Maybe I'll try 陳守仁, but the concern is that it does not have any connection with secondary schools. I also learn about the figures from the memo of the school. As far as I remember, quite many kids of the school go to 陳守仁.

Do you want Ka Ka to learn math? The math at school is definitely not enough (too simple) and they will have a hard time picking up at P1.
Preston did Kumon b4(very boring) and now 胡成珠算 which I highly recommend. He can now calculate a series of 1-digit addition and subtraction within seconds (faster than me) and 2-3 digits addition and subtraction (3 to 5 numbers) within seconds. He taught very well and he emphasis on concentration and imaging in the brain. Although I would still find some other math after this but at least he has a fgood basic skills. But it's not easy for a kid to practice every day.

Are you very busy? Preston told me that Brian is in full-day class now and he's very happy that he can play with Brian for longer time.

Brian has sent an invitation card to your kids on Tuesday. He would like to invite you all to come to his birthday party on 20 April (Sunday) at the McDonald's in Fisherman's Wharf. The party will start at 1.30pm.

The programme will start next week. Brian will join the Mon/Wed noon session.

Yes, Brian started to take full day class yesterday. His sister's got some problem in eating. My Mom has to spend more time on her. We think Brian can benefit more if he takes full day class rather than feeling bored at home. Miss Lai is very nice that she called me yesterday after school. She said Brian was so excited on his first day of full day class but he was a bit tired in the afternoon.

I haven't heard of 胡成珠算. Where is the centre that Preston is learning now ? I prefer learning step by step. I'm okay with the progress of Davin now & I don't want to push too much. Imagine that they have a very long school life ahead of them.

I think Davin can join the party. Count us in for the moment. Would like to ask if 陳守仁 is good or not. My friend who used to be a teacher told me that many gov't schools now offer activity-based learning for P.1-3. I just doubt if it's true. Any input ?

I also agree that kids should learn step by step and that's why I chose this teacher for him. He's the 1st in HK who teaches this math and his emphasis is on training the kids right brain development and concentration but not on how well they do it. The centre is in Shum Shui Po, quite far but I really think it's worth it.

I totally agree with you that kids hould learn step by step. That's why it's amazing that the kids are learning so well under this teacher. He's the very 1st one who started this math in HK. He emphasis on training the kids concentration and right brain development but solely on the correct answer. The centre is in Shum Shui Po, although it's quite far but kids from all places come and learn from him. My friend live on HK side and some from NT also come and learn, it's quite far but really worth it.

There are lots of activities in pm session, different everyday. Basically it's taught by Mandarin and English teacher. They do cookery, Japanese, drawing, reading, sports....
