Thanks Iron, I saw the school P6 secondary allocation result is good, better than other public traditional schools, will the cancellation of the exam system affecting the secondary school allocation?

啓中係我首選, 但佢無話可直升(中學係直資), 只係機會大d, 如果呢2年玩左IB, 中學佢又唔收我, 咁出去點夠人玩傳統考試.......:L

派位呢家野, 唔係睇數字, 人地派得好唔代表自己果個掂, 因為自己知自己事(講緊我喳), 阿仔資質平平, 又hea左幾年........

Yes, Iron, thanks for your kind sharing!! That's a true worry of a mum if the secondary school can't promise to take the primary school students!!

Basically my daughter is not a traditional school type kid, she is not that good at memorizing words at this stage. I afraid that traditional school with frequent dictation or examination will wipe out her learning motivation.

I hope this primary school bascially could build up her good foundation in language (Mandarin and English) and motivation for learning at least...

I saw some of the discussions years ago (not much parents come here for chat recently except two of you, that's so helpful for me), the parents worried about English standard..

I am not sure about the english standard here, but I saw the Chinese curriculum (mandarin version), its pretty good!!

I saw there is a native english co-class teacher, the kids are able to keep engl. conversation everyday, that is nice as well. but i am not sure about the grammar teaching or others...I still feel like their curriculum is quite traditional..

But you know, i am new, i am not understand deep as you two with all these experiences in school, so I hope we can get more insider information from you.

Hi LA, thank you very much for your kind exchange of information.

I could feel the school is a very good school with sound educational philosophy and theory. I feel good in their orientation, in their briefing and even to get in touch with their class teachers. They are low key and solid as well, that's why I choose it for my daughter though the fee is really expensive.

May I ask your plan for your elder kid, are you planning to go to the creative secondary school or outside traditional school through P6 allocation?
