Sorry I missed your post. Thank you very much and I wish your daughter will find a suitable kindergarten!

Parents's education to the children are far more important. I am very happy to find many parents having such a kind and loving heart and still wish those who got accepted, despite not being offered. I am sure their children are all very lucky!

Sorry I was way too busy today after the excitement from yesterday, so cannot give you more details earlier.

I guess you may not have followed my posts last year working on this Kowloon school bus project. The history should still be in the SHCK forum if you are interested.

In brief, in view of increasing number of parents like myself who attend SHCK from across the harbour, I managed to convince the kindergarten to allow us to give a survey to the entire students body to understand the actual number involved and where they are located. As of last year, the Kowloon/ N.T families are estimated to be around 15-20% of the total population, and they are pretty much the same number in am and pm classes (I guess this answer one of your latest question).

The reason why only PM routes are opened, is only because there are enough confirmation from parents to accumulate enough demand only. Situation with am routes was many parents prefer to take their children to kindergarten before they go to work so there are just not enough demands to make it possible only.

These two new routes (no.13 and 14) will be reviewed very soon (in the next mouth or two). If there are updates, I will post them in the SHCK forum.

Ian...你真的很為大家....聖心有你呢D家長真好...

雖然我地與聖心無緣..但都很佩服你的"勞心勞力", 單單校巴一樣已經為許多家庭解決接送問題.....

我都好想知道如果親身交叩位信..會不會阻礙學校行政?

題外話....我會盡心教導小女他日搵 another half 時將BK 爸爸們的優點記下..搵番個有"教育" 實力, 咁佢第日就唔駛好似佢呀媽咁捱更抵夜係BK 搵料....:happy: :happy:

其實 PM class 都幾好, 小朋友又唔駛咁早起身,而且你有無諗過小朋友成 1:00 先返到屋企,太遲食午餐會肚餓呢 ?!
同埋有可能太早起身,返到屋企都已經 "樓"眼訓,無心機食飯.......
所以我覺得 pm 好過 am !

Education nowadays require a lot of contributions from parents. And for the Canossians, they have been doing this all along. And for a traditional school, they earned my total respect and appreciation to be so open minded for willing to listen to parents' voices. We feel so lucky and thankful to be part of the family, and I am just one of many parents who are willing to contribute. For example we had a x'mas fun day organized for all the students, over 100 parents came to volunteer. Besides school, family education is very important to the children. No matter where your daughter will be studying for her kindergarten, she will be in good hand with a mother like yourself.

Concerning the letter to the principal, I believe they expected some parents will prefer to hand them in personally so it should be okay. I wish you good luck but patience will be required.
