Well, cannot do everything as you want nowadays. There are guidelines for non-voucher receiving kindergartens plus assessment from EDB from time to time.
Wow, to go through the curriculum here? Just in brief lar. I am very tire already after fighting the fever. Basically there are prayers everyday to start, with some exercises during gathering. There are theme books in Chinese and English and also another set for phonics. Seems those are covered by class teachers. The English teachers will use their own materials to teach the students, in a separate room. They will be homework time in class, so they know what they will do and can take home to finish, snack time, etc.
Basically, there will be homeworks everyday starting from K1. There will be at least one book to read per week. I think my daughter has like 2 or 3 from time to time (may be some are from my wife). There will be book reports to do, and also they have small presentation to do in turn, while they bring their own materials (with help from parents at home).
