To answer your questions: 1. International section 是否就不用學韓文?- For second language you can choose between Mandarin and Korean. So Korean is not compulsory, and almost all Hong Kong Chinese will choose Mandarin. 2. 每天大約要用多少時間做功課?- Homework doesn't come on a daily basis. Usually come on Thurs and Friday and should be handed in on Monday/ Tuesday/ Thursday. It is hard to say how long as it also depends on how quick your kid can finish the homework. Math/ Science can be done rather quickly (15-20 mins each) and for Chinese it will be 20-30 mins I would say (depends on which stream the kid is in) and for English around 30 minutes (you need to write journal, so it really depends on how quick your kid writes). 3. For Year 2, no. Grades based on continuous assessment. 4. If you choose the "internal ECA" taught by the existing teachers, then no. If you choose the external ECA held by external organizations, then yes. Take a look at the school website and you will have the details and the fees. 5. 3pm. If you have ECA then it will be 4pm.

I should add that the homework for each subject comes once per week. |

Kids are quite happy with KIS and their English level has quite significant improvement over time (for those whose English is second language), which shows that their language policy works. |
