Shatin Junior Interview

剛收到沙田英基電話將安排在6月為我小朋友九月入讀p.1面試，我們原在去年很遲才寄出申請書，亦從未收到面試信，以為石沉大海，到現在才通知面試。請問有沒有家長有此經驗。

以我所知，我朋友也申請了沙田英基，甚至比我早，也沒消息，她曾聯絡沙田英基，職員說來年已滿額不收了。

請問你們知道為什麼會有此情況呢?

Dear MF,

As I know, the kinder is one of the factor to get an interview chance. You will have better chance to have interview if your kid is studying at the qualified Kinder. Perhaps it is the reason.

I plan to apply ESF for my daughter. I am told that my daughter's kinder is in the qualified list for Shatin Junior. If you don't mind would you please be kind to advise which kinder you and your friends are taking. Thanks.

Don't worry! It's easy. My son is study K1 in ESF kindergarden. The interview just like a playgoup. The teacher will ask many questions, the childen must answer of sentences. Remind your kids (no single word) ;-)

The interview is in a group setting. They will observe your kids attitude and English level. Your kid should be able to speak in complete sentence and use reasonable grammar.

我D資料唔知幫唔幫到你, 我囡囡讀那間國際幼稚園, 曾有沙田英基教職員到訪, 了解學校英語教學課程是否與英基課程配合, 如果配合到會將學校列入簡選名單. 而我囡囡有幾位同學都考到入讀.

I don't think so.

In Shatin, Hk Pre-school(Ascot) is an qualified kinder.
