Good to see you again. I also want KV parents to share in here and we can really open our hearts to discuss in this discussion.

I have started gathering the certs and documents for my son. I attended Ying Wa parents seminar. I plan to apply 2 DSS (ying wa, BUAPS WKF) and 1 private school(Kowlooon Tong). I saw Alison at the seminar too.

Keep on sharing.

Yes, I starting work for my son's porfolio but... too slow....and hard for me! hhahaah.

Do you have any parents heard a school of "Hong Wah Primary School at 小西灣"? This is a private school but seems good wor.....

Yes, good to see you come to share. I believe Alison has been busying hunting for good schools for her son. I like Ying Wah and I am fond of DBS. I guess her son has very good chance of attending these good schools. Her son is so cute and smart.
FungMm, I haven't heard of the school that you mentioned. Your son is sweet too. Will you apply Ying Wah and DBS for him?
Mine is a daughter and I am thinking of applying 4 to 5 private schools for her. About the profile... I don't know how to start. I mean how to put everything together as I don't know the requirements of each school yet. Some parents said that no need to submit the portfolio with the application form. 3lamma, is that you have the eldest son in primary now? Any experience to share? I only know that Ying Wah, DBS primary, DGSJ would like to see portfolio, not sure about the others.
Actually, I am planning for my younger son already although he is only a K1 boy this Sep.... He got no points, I need to plan for him to interview at DSS and more private schools. This is gonna be tough.

Hi Felicia726,

Ying Wah - I guess all boys will be applied. I also like this have own secondary school per 100% wooor.... But Keefe only have 15 points so no chance to entered.

I also will apply few private school for Keefe. Will you consider HK side school?

We should create K3 channel for our kids wor, right?

Yeah, I have an elder son who's in a DSS now. As Felicia said, younger child has only 10 pts and there's no hope for the first round central allocation. I'd only apply 3 schools because it takes a lot of energy and time to attend to too many interviews and I could not afford the time as I have 3 children. I feel less tense this time because it's not my first time going through all the hassles. I just use my elder son's portfolio layout and change the content a bit. The contents for all the school are the same. They will only look at the portfolio after kids are selected in 2nd round or when they have to see the parents, so that you guys have some topics to share.

我仔都係你所講那種....不是太聰明及怕醜, 雖然我target都係英華, 但勁爭對太, 對手太強 所以不存大期望, 如果等大抽獎, 本區又只是一般, 為有多考幾間多些希望....
