Annie, 無錯！做義工唔一定要去咁遠，出門口見到地上有一張廢紙，順手拾起掉進垃圾箱；食完麥當奴善後自己的食物盤，這些都是好有意義的義務工作。 您囡囡喜歡運動，您可以詭佢去參加外展訓練，話佢知野外生活呀，好好玩呀，不過當然要話佢知好辛苦架，無床訓架！如果佢捱得過，以後就好多苦都可以捱了！我大仔舊年暑假參加左Outward Bound 個 Youth Adventure, 8日7夜完全無訓過一張床，晚晚訓帳幕，有一晚要一個人訓郊野公園燒烤爐旁邊的石檯，要到第八日先沖第一次涼。他回家的時候，兩隻腳因皮膚敏感起晒粒粒，不過，之後佢自信心大左，成個人成熟左。值得去試試。 Tommy |

| Tommy, 原来大家颇岩key. 做人做事的最高境界是能屈能伸, 如懂得用最少资源, 或找寻现剩资源,或唔用资源去办事和学习, 是另类学习, 有钱都买唔到的. 多谢提议參加外展訓練, 小女跟学校去左几年, 不知多开心. 唔觉得有捱過! 内容应该是大同小异, 但无听过要一個人訓郊野公園燒烤爐旁邊的石檯甘刺激. 少年人觉得摆脱父母的支配才有自豪感, 第八日先沖第一次涼和兩隻腳因皮膚敏感起晒粒粒，简直是战利品. 连阿爸后生都唔甘型仔, 阿仔当然成個人的自信大左. 这边顺带分享是如果怕孩子參加外展訓練会因体质不继而出意外, 可以从年幼开始, 每年暑假参加不同的运动训练, 例如, Archery, Fencing, Climbing, kayaking, wind-surfing, sailing. trampoline, judo, gymnastics , 样样学懂一点, 重要是学会安全措施 , 知道危险. 日后登山落水都无甘惊. 总会的夏日初班好便宜, 记得fenching 是HK$20 一堂3小时, wind-surfing HK$125 全日. 我无甘多闲钱带阿女周游列国, 暑假多数带佢去各大运动总会过日神. 玩得耐, 久不久又有政府资助的海外比赛和集训,偶然是免费, 就当去左见世面, 交番些外地运动员朋友. 令郎如果够tough, 可以参加港岛区的ruby team , 好多鬼仔, 顺便操练英语. annie |

Annie & Tommy Your sharings are wonderful, do more with less........ Unfortunately, my son is more focus on studying right now, if possible he can join some program's in university. I still remember him taking soccer training in HKFootball Club years ago. ANChan59 |

| From the 2nd term of IBDP year 1 onward, my son will focus on the coming summer attachment in Law firm, prepare the personal statements for different programs, draft the TOK and EE..... the last two items will lower his burden in the first term of year 2, for non-JUPAS, UCAS university applications and not side-tacked his studying and affect his final grades. |

Anchan, May i ask if it is better to have summer internship in law form if your kid want to apply for law degree. How can they find summer internship in law firm? Many thanks!, |

| I always think academic result is the basic and interview provide better view of the candidate, intern more double check for the suitability of the candidate himself and when every criteria are tie, this may make the difference. For internship can be achieved as follow: 1. Some school provides mentor-ship for senior students, he can apply and find a lawyer as mentor, he can request for an internship or shadowing; 2. Through personal connection to arrange; 3. Some District Councilors provide free legal advice for citizens in that district. He can nominate himself as volunteer to shadow in the service. May be other parents also provide better ideas..... |

| Not necessary turning to Law, more on career exploration. A friend offers him a chance to shadow his practices in an International law firm for 1-2 weeks. He will confirm the program options in the summer. BBA (Law) may be an option, it's upto him. |
