可以參考本年各校的成積,以及入大學數字,作為選校的 要點。 說得對, 一個b3學生要想入到心儀學系的機會 ,老實說,微乎其微！ 但係如果能夠轉讀ib又或者GCE, 入到心儀學系嘅機會相信會大幅提升。 不過，話說回來。學生本身當然要努力喇，種瓜得瓜，種豆得豆。 作為農夫， 將種子移植到肥沃的土地上栽種，收穫當然會更加豐盛啦！！ 如果 見到幼苗在現時的土壤中不能茁壯成長的話， 聰明的農夫當然會將幼苗轉到另一塊土地上嘗試一下。 如果眼見孩子是讀band3中學， 將來入到心儀學校嘅機會有如中六合彩一樣， 作為家長嘅，當然會希望為孩子想辦法，尋出路喇！ 與其守株待兔，坐以待斃。不如另闢蹊徑，尋找出路！

如果能夠轉讀ib又或者GCE，呢個係基於好多假設。首先，如果小朋友既英文唔好，原本考DSE可能可以入到心儀學系，轉咗之後就失去咗機會。

其實攞咗 Advance Standing ，未必是好事， 因為你唔take 個offer，你的成績應該不錯，會拉高GPA。另外一年級越級挑戰二年級，選科冇優先，好多時影響學習計划及進度。 兒子當年攞咗大部份 Advance Standing，除了經濟英文，其他是閒科，到第三年開竅，選多些非主修科目，讀完四年大學課程！

IB 嘅好處就係可以考 second language + standard level, 避重就輕 相反, dse英文只得一份考卷, 避無可避!

dse 英文已經係2nd language, 而且有網民話dse有兩份英文卷，好似以前會考AB卷，淺D那份最高衹可取4

Definitely possible. There are current DSE cases of 36/42 and 37/42 known in EK this year but failed in Chinese (before appeal) who are local medical school candidates. Back in the 1980s, there were bright HKALE science students who failed in English (UE) and couldn't get in HKU but entered Poly instead.

同意，衹説個學生中文2，無講其他科成績，可以用大半年時間操 3科pass papers 。當然亦有人會解讀為 dse 世上最難，A level 易取高分
