May I ask - 1.What is '中期報告'? 2.Does it account for the final exam? 3.Any parents' day w/ class teachers in Apr/May?

Hi,
1.Not So sure...
2.It's shouldn't be anything about the final exam., if my memory didn't failed me.
3.Last parents" day, Class teacher mentioned that a report will be given back to us with the mid-term exam report after those Quizs. Would there be any parent's day again, I have no clue on it.:-? :)

1/ It is a "Progress Report" which is issued by the end of April. It is a simple one-page report covering the subject performance (Very Good, Good, Satisfactory, or Needs improvement) and Effort (Good, Satisfactory, or Needs improvement) on all subjects in that semester. No Grade or Teacher comments are given.

2/ It doesn't account for final exam.

3/ There will not be any other parents' day in the second term.

ROP -- Rites of Passage -- is a 4-week summer programme to be participated by students who finishes Form 3. It is held in Queensland Australia and it involves outward bound activities, enquiry learning... It was first held in 2009 with a quota of around 50, extending to 100 in 2010, and I think it will eventually be opened for all Form 3ers in 2012 (not sure!).
