pls give comment to the International Montessori School(IMS) (age 3-6)?

how's the teachers, nice ?

Really using montessori approach?

Can your child fluent on both Eng & Mandarin?

Since the school fee is very expensive, worth for money?

Any problem if Iplan to send my son to local primary school after kinder?

THANKS !

Are you referring the one in Wanchai? They have school tour on 29th. I have registered, if you are interested, you can call up for a place.

Hi,

I have tried to call IMS in these two days but their voice mail box were always full and I could not reach anybody. Could you inform how were you made the registration for the school tour? How often does IMS having such tour? upon request or every week/month?

Dear Happy小米,

Thanks. My son is now 2 mths but we decided to let him take Montessori already. Do you know more about IMS, is it good? Are your kid already studying in Montessori school as I came across your sharing & comments on Montessori over many times in BK and you seem very resourceful and knowledagble in this topic. Appreciate to having you in the forum. Thanks very much.

Memostop,

I am just searching advice for ims, will visit it shortly, may try its playgroup when my son reaches 1.5 yrs old.

I only have read some books regarding Montessori approach and not as knowledagble as you said. Instead, what to get more from other experienced parents.

Your son is too young for a montessori playgroup but you can start setting the environment for him if he is fine for feeding, health, etc. I mean u don't need to put too much pressure on yourself how to teach him. Only after you have settled down, relax and reading some books and then doing somethings as you learn.

Be a great mother/father?

No worry, I am not that type to put much pressure to myself and my kid. I would let my baby to join any playgroup until he reaches 1.5 or even 2yrs old. I just want to get away from HK educational system, but I have no clue when to start approaching the Montessori School as I was frightened by the "waiting list" culture in HK. Thank you.
