I don't think they will put the homework list on the web as they want the students to be indepenent. This is the student's responsibility, not parents. More than 40 students in a class are a little bit more, but most teachers can handle. They get used to. |

Putting the homework list onto the website is not meant that the students don't have to do it by themself. Just for the parents know do they do the best. And, it's quite popular in HK. You know, all the things are being electronic in the whole world. If you don't follow, you will lost. |

Difference School has difference policy. It does not mean that they are outdate. Good Hope School (primary section) was founded in 1953. She has her own system. |

My girl says there is a separate green-board for homework, cleaned daily after school. So would this serve the same purpose for web and e-handbook ?-( My girl did miss some homework before, but later after noticing this separate homework green-board, she is able to copy all. Personally, I do not prefer e-handbook, cos it is the kids' responsibility to copy. one analogy: nowadays, many use powerpoint for teaching, cos 'in' and fashionable, but some stick with the old method--transparency, simply cos it is reliable, not afraid of disc error or computer break-down. regarding e-handbook, I tend to believe it is not a matter of modern or not, but the rationale behind. If teachers have time to update e-handbook, i would prefer they to spend more time on lesson preparation. sorry for offending others :cheeze: |

Any GH mommy lives in Tsuen Wan? How long did your child take from school back to home. I notice the school bus arrive at Tsuen Wan MTR station around 18:30. Is it spend a long time for the children stay in the school bus? Will it make the children very tired after school? |
