Hi! My son is the P1 student and my family is full of expectation towards CKY. We did satisfy w/ it so far. But, I also concern abt what other parents' opinion. Nice to hear what you said below. If I want to join the school parent activity, how and who shd I contact?

Absolute agreed the information in website are so out-dated.
Really hope CKY can look into the matter to update the site as much as possible.

其實ECECE是學校同同學們相方合作,不是單一方的事情.如果同學不合作,只在C或E的日子才說話或不說話,那計劃就冇意義:-o 學期剛開始,給孩子輕鬆一吓罷.

kyliema無說錯,學校的Web Site真係好好好好唔Update....:hammer: 有時Homework 不能當天登出,在我個人看來是可理解,但Student's Work(相信是05-06的), Student Awards(不能盡錄),高興的是見到07-08 Calendar.:victory: :victory:

May I know
- how is your children's English standard? can they speak Enlish fluently like native?
- which language the children use to communicate with each others?

I am just thinking the tuition fees of CKY is so high, what is the differenece between this school and Int'l School?

Hi bbwong,

The main difference between CKY and most international schools is that CKY has a very strong Chinese curriculum. Principal Lau's expertise is in teaching of Chinese language using putonghua as medium. Of course, there are some international schools that also offer strong Chinese curriculum too but these are more expensive than CKY.

Secondly, CKY will lead to IGCSE and IB exams. Some other international schools offer IGCSE and some IB but there are just a few that offer through-train of both. (According to my knowledge those through-trains are much more expensive than CKY!)

Personally I think it is difficult to say whether a school is expensive or not. There are many educational values that cannot be measured. If you want to know whether it is worthwhile to pay the sum, you should visit the school and attend the seminars, compare with other schools and judge for yourself whether this is the kind you / your kid want.
