| st mary is government aided, you cannot compare private to non-private in terms of interviews/family backgrounds it's just like comparing DGJS to Maryknoll since the latter is government aided as well. BUT, to me, the most difficult school to get into via interview is actually St Pauls co-ed (my own experience!) | What is meant by 平民? I think doctors, nurses, lawyers, teachers, bankers, engineers, managers, police officers, civil servants etc. are also 平民, they are just people serving the community everyday. Is the question asking about the income level? I believe people who can afford paying a few thousands a month school fee will at least be middle class level as now DGJS is a private school. The lower class may have very smart children, but they may not be able to afford paying the school fee, so may not even apply. |

| My daughter is studying at an Int'l Kinder in Tai Po? (not Kowloon Tong Kinder) but she has very high standard in terms of English. Does she has good chance to enter DGS? DGS or Maryknoll is better? Actually I am considering for international school instead but may also try these local famous schools. Anyone please advise. Thanks! |
