But I also know my friend who is not wealthy and not a professional, but his daugther also got offer by DGJS....but she is in P4 now... is the requirement different now?.......

My daughter will try apply this year too. Had heard some cases that girls were accepted by them and their background are not that special. Parents are just normal working guy, but the girl are really smart.

So, any mother can share their experience for SUCCESS APPLICATION for the past years.
As it help much for us to analyse our chance or decide whether we should apply.

If only rich or special background girls would be accepted, that we would rather not to apply to save
time.
Very confused, pls help !!!

我都決定o左唔幫女兒報女拔。一來費事俾人當玩具咁玩，陪太子讀書；二來我覺得學校/校長這種心態十分乞人憎，我不希望子女長大後會是一個這樣不可一世、狗眼看人底的階級觀念主義者。 :wave:

In fact, I believe most school headmasters or headmistresses will act similarly during admission interviews.

My colleague knows someone whose daughter was admitted to DGS a couple of years ago. At the time of application, I believe her mother was an air hostess and father was a fireman. But like Phoebe-lily's case, the girl was very smart, confident and presentable.
