| Hi LHT sisters, What do you feel about the 「中文８寶箱」? We feel it's quite difficult for P.1 students, especially for today's listening comprehension, and the 粵語的正音 on last Thurs.Do you agree? It seems like a piece of homework for parents, not for the 6 years old children. :-? :-? |

| Today's listening assessment is quite difficult as it needs student's deduction. Making mistakes are un-avoidable. I let my son to spend more time and repeat it until he understands. If he still made mistake, let him made it. We explained why his answer was wrong. On last Thursday assignment, it really needs parent to read it to the student. For sure, they don't know how to read the word and choice the answers. |

| By the way, let share how our parents help our kids to learn Mandarin and English at home or have it outside. For Mandarin : What courses your kids will take e.g. phonics, playgroup ? What resources you used to make him interested to learn Mandarin ? What schedules/arrangement you make to listen more Mandarin ? How can you motivate your kids to speak more mandarin ? For English : What courses your kids will take e.g. phonics, playgroup ? What resources you used to make him interested to learn English ? What schedules/arrangement you make to listen more English ? How can you motivate your kids to speak more English ? We all know that Mandarin and English are important. However, how we execute and implement the learning programme may be a big difference. Let's learn from each other on Mandarin and English. |
