| For the new students camp, no parents will need to attend. It will be a half day camp. Students will have some games and mandarin lessons etc, ice-breaking activities I guess. 3lamma |

| Hi 3lamma, My son will join K1 ths yr. We're living in Shatin and we're worried that our chance of entering P1 is small. That's because we find out in other thread that 1. the primary school only recurit 50 K3 students from HKBUK and 2. the 15% barrier. Could u tell me whether your son was a HKBUK student or not? Is living in Tai Wai really a hinderance to the P1? Thanks |

| Hi, My son is not studying at HKBUK. It is better if you have another address when you apply the school if you are living in Shatin. If your son is only in K1, I don't think you should worry too early because the rules of the game can change every year! 3lamma |

| Thanks for ur reply! I'm worried because I'v to give up 3 other kinder to choose HKBUK. And there's rumor telling that the primary school have set a quota of 50 students from HKBUK. Anyway, we'll have to wait and see. |
