知道您們的兒子在學校適應得很好, 衷心為您們感到高興!
我自己的女兒都是一個相當"惡攪"的Asperger小朋友, 但和您們家有2 個special talented kids相比, 個中的辛苦也不是甚麼一回事了。

希望日後會聽到您們更多的好消息, 大家努力呀!

Thank you very much for all of your sharing! Asperger is a new term for me, so your sharing is very valuable to me. :-D

I pray to God giving my husband and I patience, love, strength and wisdom to bring up my son. This is a unique assignment from God!

I have one more question: where do you bring your kid to do the test? Is it a long queue to wait for a place at Gov't clinic? :-?

There are so much so to learn!

I like the term "special talented kids". Everyone of us is talented and gifted. And everyone of us deserves a good, happy and meaningful life. It's a matter of attitude.

我仔仔係在政府智能測驗中心做評估的，首先會填問卷見姑娘，有需要會再排期見醫生做詳細評估。我見完姑娘等大約一個月見醫生。等的時間長短要視乎當時等候人數，同小朋友的情況。但如果需要政府提供服務，都係經政府智能測驗中心做評估較直接。做完政府智能測驗中心之後，再排期見個別治療師做評估。因為排服務要等一段長時間，同時亦因為當時完全不懂仔仔要那種治療，於是再帶仔仔去協康青蔥計劃做評估，但印象係政府智能測驗中心比較仔細，可能協康做評估係按時收費，唔好意思慢慢做。等到政府服務之前就在協康俾錢做言語同職業治療。

我之前同個仔係政府做後,再到最近到私人的做了韋氏.
跟住我問返個仔政府做的同私人做的有甚麼分別,佢話一樣.......................(佢得六歲).但以我記得所用時間不同,私人用係小朋友的時間比較長啲囉!
但份報告就一定係私人詳盡,私人個份可以知埋個仔有乜長處短處,有埋分數!咁樣可以知道點樣幫個仔多啲!
不過都係係返學方面,情緒方面好似無乜點提點樣去做.
可能我個仔問題唔係咁大吧!(我自己覺得)

Thanks for your info. I will check with Heep Hong and queue up at the gov't clinic

It's a headache to bring him to Sunday school. He has attended 2-3 times,then he rejected to enter the room afterwards. Actually, he did not have any bad experience there. I am still trying hard to persuade him to have a try again.
