| The school you are referring to sounds v much like CIS (Chinese International School)Their school fees are sky high. I have many friends whose children are there cos their company is paying the school's debenture(HK$1million) and school fees. Agree that even academically under-performing students are happy and confident there as they at least speak proper English. |

| "why there is such a great variation in the overall achievement of the students when they graduate from DGS/DGJS?" 這句話亦適用於 "elite international schools", 這世界應該沒有神話. 收生方面, DGJS 挑學生, 考慮家長的社經地位、職業及從小對孩子的教育舖排 (包括讀那間幼稚園) 等等, 一點也不足為奇, 不能否認, 來自中上產家庭的孩子, 得到家庭的支援往往愈多. |
