Lots of extra cirricular activities, ranging from sports, arts, computer ... to chess, music etc. You'll get a long list actually. Sat. ones are optional whilst the ones on each Friday afternoon are compulsory.

Thank you Gapper, do you have son/daughter studying in KTS. I think you are very familiar with this school. What is your comment abt this school comparing with the government school? And, What is the activities time last in Mon-Fri if I choose one of the cirricular activity for my son (2-3 times in a week) since the time for the school bus is last to 4:30pm. Which kind of the activities need to paid and which are free? Tks

May, My little girl is now in P.2. She has just finished the final exam. and hopefully she can be promoted to p.3. Actually both Brother Ben and Gigi 2 have offered neutral and detailed comments on KTS. KTS is quite demanding indeed. The standard should be much higher than the usual local Government schools. I have not compared it with traditional famous Government schools like MCS, La Salle etc. But if a primary school has linked secondary school, usually the pace of teaching and the syllabus would be easier to follow. Of course, Government schools are free but KTS is a private non-profit-making school. I only know that the school bus schedule on Fridays copes with the school's extra curricular activities, cos. my girl does not join activities between Mondays - Thursdays. Perhaps you can check with the staff (handling school bus service of KTS) and there will be more information to be issued to new parents. Don't worry. If the tutors are school teachers, the activities are mostly free (or plus a nominal charge for materials). If the tutors are outsiders, then a few hundreds (for a school term) may be required. So, the fees are quite ok.

Hi,kts各位家長, 請問校方有沒有要求學生學習一種學器?或在音樂或運動上兩者選擇一樣接受有系統的體藝訓練,而是必須選修的課外活動? 謝謝!

May be slightly difficult but don't worry, teachers are nice. They would have supplementary classes for kids who cannot catch up. For most of the vocab. which you may come across in General Studies, Maths (only an Eng. workbook) and English subject., you can tackle them by using dictionary. For English grammar, you can make reference to supplementary exercises. Most of them give good explanations. After all, language is a matter of exposure, no matter it's Chinese or English. The more a kid reads, the better.

Frankly speaking, last year I did wonder whether I made a right choice and gave up other reputable schools. She has shown how much she loves KTS.
