As far as I know, you will receive memo(s) with a lot of extra-curricular activities for you to consider at the beginning of term. Regarding the school rep. team, normally teachers will invite your child to join the preparatory class and this will happen all the times during the whole year of school term. If you let your child join the preparatory class, he / she will have a chance to be selected as the representative of school later in open competition.

另外,佢地ge放假時間係咪跟足個校曆表架,因為我d同事d小學好鬼多假放,時不時唔駛返學....更有好多時間係返半日的(例如考試週),間唔中又有老師進修日......一年好鬼多假放....因為我都係working mum,屋企冇工人架....佢太多假好鬼難安排...自己都放唔到咁多假啦.....

From my memory, all schedules would be fixed unless some special arrangement is proposed but you must be notified by memo much in advance. In addition, the swimming competition in 2nd term will be excluded those P.1-P.2 students and they will have a day off from school.

Brother Ben,

My litte girl still has careless mistakes, which made her loss of 9 marks in Computer and 12 marks in GS. Otherwise, she could get 92 in Computer and 98 in GS. My kid thought that she was asked to fill in the blanks instead of writing the letter of the answer. I guess if the format of the question follows the traditional multiple choice ones, lots of kids can avoid the traps :cry: .

As far as I can recall, mostly the holidays follow the school calendar. But for test and exam week, only half day. Besides, the kids have "sudden leave" e.g. teachers' development day, swimming gala (not for p1 and p2), rehersal of the Speech Day etc. July would be a "high season" for "sudden leave".

I need to use PDA to record these, otherwise, I'll bring my girl to school as usual. ;-)

請問是否每一科都要考試 ? 之前會否有溫習週之類呢 ? 另外, (見外面有人問開...) 請問kts 又會否派回考試巷給小朋友呢 ?

The week before test / exam is usually for revision.

1 test & 1 exam. per term. But no test for Music, Putonghua and Computer - exam. only.

Yes, all test and exam. papers are distributed for parents' signature. Some worksheets are required parents' signature too. Teachers usually go through the test and exam. papers with students thereafter.
