| hi PHmami.... KV parents said KV's english is ok, but compared to SC, its oral and listening are weak D because there is no NET in Kentville. Thus, most KV's students like to join Phonics or oral courses outside. However, KV's Maths and Chinese standard are quite high. | Hello Safarimama and PHmami, Since I decide my boy will go to KV, whenever I see kid in KV uniform on the way home after school, I will ask my baby to say hello and try to make friend with 'elder brother and sister'. I find most of them are quite shy to answer question in English, eventhough they seems to understand. :-? 8-) :-o I check with my cousin (their boy is in K2), they show me see their last yr (K1) exercise and examine paper, I find (as you mentioned) English is a little bit easier than Chinese and Math. ;-) Any planning for outside phonics or oral class?:-? Also you mentioned they had field trip, did you know where? Oh, I really hope the school can at least have 1 outing a year...too much outing is too expensive but no is a bit...ur..'out date'?!? :roll: :-? |
