| Hi K-C-L, My daughter told me yesterday that her seating was rearranged by the teacher as one of her classmates has gone to another school. By the way, do you know the scope for the English dictation next week ? I saw the handbook but have no idea what does (紙) mean ? |

| chanyeung, 英默紙means the teacher will give out a list of english words eg. dictate from One to ten and some of the spelling in the book. Later on after the first semester, will dictate content of the chapters and have unseen spelling in 3rd semester. English dict. grade is counted in the school report but chinese dict. will not count until P3. Hope this can help you. ChiChima33 (P2. parent) |

| Hi saumei, Nice to meet you here. I wish I can share my experience to all of you. Yes, the school encourage "朋輩互助". P6 哥哥姐姐will give tutorial for P1 師弟妹during 午息時間. Later on, 班會理事們will organize 小攤位遊戲 to all the P1 students. The kids will be very happy because they can get pencils, stickers from the 班會理事們. ChiChima33 |

| Dear Chichima33, Agree, I knew my daughter really appreciated to have elder sisters / brothers to lead them to play, to visit different corners of the school, & to do some exercise etc. If there are 小攤位遊戲 & pencils, stickers coming, sure the P1 students will be very happy. & this kind of activities will also benefit the youngsters' growth at the same time. A question arose, is there any fixed pairing of the 師兄師姐 to 師弟妹 ? i.e. a closer relationship of a small group ? If so, how's the ones with your son? |

| saumei, They are assigned by the teacher, my son's 大姐姐is nice. She teach him 金句 & after the first test, if the P1 teacher think that the kid is weak in any of the subject, she will ask the elder brother or sister to give tutorial on that subject. ChiChima33 |

| Dear chanyeung, There is a sheet listed out the scope of the dictation. There are three parts- 1st part to write the kid's name, 2nd part is alphabets, and 3rd part is fill in blanks, e.g. I am fine, thank you. If you cannot find it, you can ask the teacher or I can mail to you. Dear Chichima, How about the tests? Would they be counted in the school report? Also, would there be any exams/ tests for subjects like Putonghua,常識, Religious etc.? Thanks a lot. :adore: Dera saumei, I don't know whether the teacher will practise with the kids who join the 朗誦節, but the teacher told me that unlike P1, from P2 onwards, teacher will choose and select kids to join the festival. So I suppose the teacher will practise with the kids. Dear yanga, My girl has joined the violin and computer class in the school. Have you joined any?
