Do you think that the open examinations of Cambridge or Trinity......etc are really helpful of increasing the success rate of Secondary school application? I know there are some parents who are eager to arrange their kids to take those examinations even at lower grades e.g. before P.4 or P.3 to complete flyers Cambridge etc.

Will there be any difference to complete those examinations before P.3 or just have them at P.5 while applying for secondary schools? It seems that a lot of examinations for our children....... :-| Parents seem to make our children to take them as earlier as they could..... :roll:

Cambridge or Trinity 幾似韓國燒烤中的配菜，完全沒有就不似樣，有了又沒有大作用。學業+有一樣達至全港水準的"其他方面"，我覺得已有不俗的競爭力，亦是主線的發展。

有時間的話，早些考下亦無所謂，考得唔好也可以考多次。

其實係睇申請中學時，最後那一張是甚麼，我覺得 PET (pass) or KET (pass with merit) 已十分足夠。

Cambridge 試要留意試期，eg. KET 、PET 一年有幾多次，太遲考唔切。

My case....順順利利但 PET 只是剛趕得切，應早多半年開始。

PET P6 Jan (Date of issue of the cert.)
KET P5 May
Flyers P5 Sept.

Trinity Grade 6 P5 Nov. (考試費好貴，Grade 6 夠就算。)
