我想問下呢,咁多位媽媽您們的小朋友有做過E院提供(池力供震)檢查嗎?有用嗎?今日個兒科e生話驚我仔個腦有退化引致講說話能力慢(因亞仔細過時跌過個頭仔)我有d擔心!

我個仔做完評估時做過, 見埋遺傳科抽血染驗色體, 跟住就話所有report都搵吾到佢係自閉症的原因(意料中事), 但既然醫生suggest左叫你小朋友去做, 有無用都好(雖然都知自閉症係搵吾到原因), 但做左好似安樂d

just wonder how do they decide who has to do all these tests. I know another global developmental delayed kid has to do 池力供震 too, but they have never asked my son to do any type of tests. Anyone knows why?

As far as I know, if there is a regression in ability or if the delay is very significant, the doctor is more likely to do more tests to find out causes / causes that may be treatable.
