| Hi CKY P1 parents, Do you receive any news from the school regarding the school orientation? I remember that there is an orientation before the school open day, and will announce the class arrangement in due course. Thanks. :-? :-? |

| They told us the new student orientation will luanch on Aug 26th, but till now, still not receive any news. |

| Can we bring our kid to school in the first day? If so, I will to make my kid feel more comfortable in the first day.-I am sure they are quite nervous to become a primary kid (especially after they watched the 女王教室. :-) |

| I rec'd letter too. Any new parents plan to stay at school and wait for their kids after lesson finished (10:30). |

| 第一天開學禮，多數家長都會陪同去 先會在禮堂分班，然後去球場進行開學禮，包括： * 唱校歌（不過我孩子升P3 都好似未識唱校歌，有教過咩？） * 校長講故仔（雖然好好聽，不過如果天氣好，有太陽晒，都幾慘架，舊年有學生暈倒） * 放氣球（視乎天氣，有冇落雨） 然後學生回班房 所象中，P1時家長也要去班房，班主任會講解家長如何填寫手冊，功課安排之類； （咦？又好似在orientation果日已經在班房見過班主任，所以家長在開學果日唔駛去班房，我唔多記得，抱歉∼∼如果orientation 果日班主任已經同你地講左課堂的事，那麼，開學那天，開學禮之後，家長多數唔駛去班房啦） 最後，學生上課，家長是不在場的，可能只是學生互相介紹之類 以上是往年的安排，只供參考 |

| CKY is positioning as a multi-language school, each primary class deploys two teachers to teach all subjects, one is native English teacher, and the other one speaks in Putonghua/Guangdonghua. P2 or above students are taught in Putonghua in all Chinese subjects, except one '通識'. While other subjects, such as Maths, Science are taught in English. :wave: |
