我囡囡是今年9月升讀小學一年級。我已經為囡囡在暑假時讀一些預備班之外。現在要囡囡做一d 小一的補充習作，公文式的英文，鋼琴。因聖心學校是重視舞蹈及音樂的。

Hi Pamela,
Where di d you study the pre-primary course then I can prepare for next week. for Kumour English, the kumour teacher said if my girl is only 5 yrs not suitable for kumour. and need to start with the Kumour math first. How's yr comment on Kumour english.? tks/richardma

Hi richardma,
其實kumon 的英文同數學是分開，有d人會同一時間讀兩科。而我為什麼只會懂英文，而不懂數學。
因為我覺得數學可以自己教及比多d補助款習作給小朋友做，而且數學的變化不大(在小學的課程，我相信家長可以應付得來的。)
而英文的變化太大，未必自己能教到，又不必肯定是否正確(在音標方面)，所以我最後都選擇了英文一科。我覺得學語言是由細個學是最好的。
我囡囡未夠五歲就kumon英文(EFL)，懂了兩個level之後，發覺佢很講，上英文堂會大聲讀出上堂的句子，人的信心大了。我訂期會問佢的班主任及KUMON 的老師，了解囡囡在學校的進展及情況。
而且kumon 會升班的，最基本是由7a開始，慢慢地升上去，每當合格升班，囡囡就會有一種滿足感。
但我看kumon的課程介紹，是3歲以上開始就可以懂kumon，不過沒有講明是懂那一科。
你要小心留意，kumon的英文分兩種，一種是國際的(EFL)，另一種是比較淺的（EPR)，EPR 是淺的課程，比一d 讀EFL 不適應/不適合的小朋友就讀，而讀完EPR的課程的人就可以跟住讀EFL。

我幫囡囡參加了兩個小一課程，是英文及數學。在灣仔區上課的。如果有需要E-MAIL資料給你!

各位好!小女都係今年升聖心小一(下午)。有幾個問題煩請各家長多多指教：
1. 我見學校有各種課外活動，P1新生會在上學期己可參加，或是要到下學期才有？是否自費參加？收費如何？有否規定最多或最少參加多少項？另有那些活動可選擇？是否學校去挑選同學去參加特別的團隊，例如樂團、泳隊等？
2. 課外活動是否安排在平日上午或星期六進行？活動時間通常是從幾時到幾時？學校會否安排校巴？
